For Sacramento State’s Intramural Sports, I collaborated with a teammate to build a fresh campaign approach designed to increase student participation and modernize how the program is promoted. We developed a clear game plan audience focus, messaging, and a flexible content system so the campaign could run consistently across multiple platforms while still feeling bold and current.
Our goal was to create a noticeable shift from past promotions by emphasizing energy, community, and low barrier entry (“show up, join in, bring friends”), while making the visuals and copy more attention grabbing for today’s students. The result was a scalable concept that can adapt to different sports, seasons, and channels helping Intramural Sports feel more visible, more inviting, and easier to engage with.
